All Things Work Together Part – 3

Romans 8:28 – We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.

The devil instils fear in us by causing us to focus on that one big problem or difficulty in our life and will not allow us to see the bigger picture. If he can accomplish that, we are allowing the storm to take control of our life and hurt us. But the above scripture reminds us that God works all things together for our good.

When I was depressed, I thought nothing good could come of my life and this was the end. However as I began to read, study and understand the scriptures, I realised that I had to follow the instruction in the scriptures. I did exactly that and step-by-step things began changing in my life. Gradually my character changed, and my actions and words were now according to the Word of God. The storm that came into my life changed me and made me a new person because I followed the instructions from the Bible.

In the midst of the storm in our life, if we obey God’s instructions we will definitely emerge from that storm as a better person. The quicker we follow the instruction the quicker we can get out of the storm. In our lives, there are different storms and during the duration of those storms, the Lord Coaches us to master it so that we can grow into better people. Until we master that storm, there is no way we can grow.

All things work together for God for those who love God. The ones who love God are the ones who keep His commandments. Jesus gave us the commandment of love. Do we practise this? Do we love God with all our heart or love ourselves more than we love God? To love means to give.

John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.

The evidence of love is when you give, not the left over’s  but the best that you have to give. God leads the way by giving us His only Son!
