Ambassador of Christ Part – 5

Romans 12:2 – And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

In our ministry, we have a very accomplished praise and worship singer.  But she is a very angry person from within herself.  But Praise be to God, when she began to hear the Word of God, she accepted the Word and agreed to conform her behaviour according to the Word of God. Within a short period of time, her life changed for the better.  This is what she had to say to me -“The Word of God has transformed my life”. This is the ministry of reconciliation.

Reconciliation is the process by which God changes human beings and adjusts them to the standard of His perfect character. How do you begin to have a ministry of reconciliation? The preacher preaches the Word of God and tells you that Jesus is destroying every negative feeling, every bondage, every curse from your life; you accept it as the Word of God and believe that you are set free. Now you are transformed from “enemy of God” to “adopted Child of God”. This freedom, forgiveness and love that is shining in you is much too wonderful to keep within you. So you go and preach this to your family, friends, colleagues and everyone you come in contact with. Will they believe you? Yes they will, because when you speak with faith, God the Father himself will confirm what you have spoken with signs and wonders. This is the Ministry of Reconciliation.

Isaiah 55: 11 – So shall My Word be that goes forth from my mouth. It shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Before I met the Lord, my life was a mess. I was the cause of misery to my family. It was at that time, my wife out of desperation spoke her heart out to Jesus. She said “Lord, I don’t know what to do with my husband, I am not able to cope up with his wrong doings that are affecting us as a family so please do whatever you need to do to him to change him”.

Within a month I was afflicted with so much personal sufferings that I cried out to my God to give me one last chance.  I guess a hard nut like me needed this kind of a wakeup call. From that moment until now I am a child in God’s Kingdom, obeying His Word.
