Habakkuk 2:3 – For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
Continuing from yesterday, I now had a dream in my mind to open a rehab home, but I had no money. I did not even have money to buy travel tickets to go to places to preach.
While at a night vigil, I heard God instructing me at 5 am in the morning that he wanted me to go to Goa. I did not want to go to Goa nor did I have the money to buy myself a ticket to Goa. God said He would provide for me! I then told my friends about God wanting me to go to Goa but that it would be impossible to get tickets during the May season. A stranger heard this and inquired about the number of tickets needed. I asked for nine tickets which he promised to deliver. Subsequently I received an envelope with some money in it and the amount in the envelope matched the price of the nine tickets! Thus started my monthly trips to Goa!
I shared my dream with Br. Alred – the retreat centre, the rehabilitation centre for the alcoholics and drug addicts and he also was pregnant with the same vision. Share your vision with someone who is like minded and focused on the Word of God. God’s promise in Habakkuk 2 is that the vision will surely come at the appointed time.
I had read a testimony of a musician who had fallen on hard times and could not afford to buy a keyboard he needed for the Praise and Worship. He made a vision that he is gifted with the much required keyboard. Every morning the Praise and Worship was conducted with an imaginary keyboard. This went on for six months until a man came to his door, with the organ and said, ‘Take it! Now I can sleep in peace!” God had spoken to this man six months earlier and told him to give this musician a keyboard and he had sleepless nights because of that.
Br. Joe had a similar need for a keyboard for the Praise and Worship. He wrote his vision for a keyboard on a paper and taped it to the wardrobe and another copy on the mirror in his bathroom. The first thing he sees on waking up is the vision for a key board. During the entire day he is reminded of his vision and God’s promise that this vision will surely come to pass.
One morning Br. Joe began to vomit and a girl who was in the intercessory team told me he was not well; I told her everything is fine, it is normal for him since he has morning sickness. When Br. Joe came out of the washroom and described how he was feeling, an anointing exploded upon all those in the room. We were all crying, and singing songs of praise to God for the next hour!
We did not know how it works; all we did was read it in the Book of Habakkuk and activated our faith.
Some of you are spiritually pregnant right now with a vision that God has placed within your belly. He knew that you would be the right person for the job. Now don’t allow doubt, fear, insecurity or naysayers to cause you to abort the vision that God has placed within you. It’s time to carry the vision to FULL term!
