Psalm 84:2 —– My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
Does our soul yearn for God? Do you find it hard to define the things inside your heart? Do you wonder if you are the only one who feels this way and wants what you want? Do you wonder if you are the same as others in this mass of humanity, or are you alone in your experiences?
When I heard someone say to me, “God loves you” I would ask, “Then why does He not save me? Do you ever wonder “Why does God want me to pray to Him and then only will He grant me what I ask”?
In Genesis 1 it says God created man in His likeness and image and gave them dominion over the things of this earth. God said let ‘us’ make man, which meant the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. There is no one more powerful than that. The Earth belonged to God but in His love, He gave everything to man. If God gave the earth to us, then we are responsible for it because He has given us the freedom to use the earth.
Satan, however, had an altogether different plan. He deceived man and caused Adam to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree. This disobedience of Adam caused man to be cut off from God. Satan then took over this earth.
But man needs God’s help in his day to day affairs. God wants us to depend on Him and not rely on ourselves. God is our Father and we are His children. Children cannot make it in this world without their parents. How much more so can we not make it without the help of our Heavenly Father? Hence man needs to pray.
But Satan has a problem when people pray and study the Word of God Satan has no problem when we try and solve the problem ourself but when we start studying the Bible and applying it that is when he wants to stop us.
When everything seems to be falling in around us, when the walls seem to be closing in on us, when nothing in our world or in this world seems to hold any hope, when everything looks completely hopeless, just remember that God is not ever caught by surprise. He will save those who are His from calamity (Heb 7:25). He will never forsake us, or leave us. All we need to do is go down on our knees and pray while focussing on Him and His Word and not on the problems.
Satan tries TO LIMIT you’re praying because He knows YOUR PRAYING will limit Him.
