Psalm 27:1 —– The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
We are Christ’s ambassadors and the representatives of God’s Kingdom on the earth. The devil is the ruler of the kingdom of darkness, and his main aim is to bring destruction to God’s people. But God has made us ambassadors of light and we can stop the devil from blinding the people’s minds by opening their eyes to the truth of God’s Word. God’s Word gives us light. If we live according to this truth and if we allow God’s Word to rule our lives then we will shine with the light of God’s truth.
If I did not have a vision to teach in Africa, I would not go there. I made a vision to preach the Word in Africa and began to move in that direction asking God for help. When I look back now, I can see thousands of people being touched there. On my first visit to Africa, approximately 11,000 people attended the retreat; the next time I went around 20,000 people were present. I am going again in January and the expected count is 100,000 people. The message is broadcast over the radio so that all people will receive the Word of God.
But when I began my journey with the Lord my condition was terrible. I could not recall my name.I could not take care of myself. My mind was out of control. But I made a decision to follow the Light of the Lord and Jesus did marvels for me! When my memory was restored I read the Bible day and night. Even though I did not understand the Bible I kept on reading and reading until the day this Word became real to me. This Word became life to me, I did not try to come out of sin, this Word that I read lead me out of sin.
Talk to Jesus, and tell Him that you also want to walk in the light. That you want to know what His plan and purpose for your life is. That you want to follow Him. Do not blame anyone else for your problems. Blame yourself for not focussing on the Word. Ask the Lord for help to develop a relationship with Him so that every part of your being will yearn for His Holy presence. Focus on the Word of God so that you will hear the voice of God.
The more we become a reflector of the light of Jesus, that light changes our life and the lives of those around us. That is what God calls us for. Do not underestimate God’s ability to use you by looking at your capacity. Look at the One that is in you and with you that wants to do great things through you. Make dreams and visions of how you want to work in God’s Kingdom. Then you can fill this earth with the truth of God’s Word.
JESUS WANTS A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU. DO YOU ACCEPT?
