Pursuing God’s Word Part – 4

Psalms 119:89 ——- Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.

God’s breath produces life. God’s Word also produces life. God’s Word is a living powerful force. God’s Word contains the ability or power to do what it says. Healing scriptures contain within them the capacity to produce healing. Deliverance scriptures have the inherent ability to produce deliverance.

God formed the entire universe by His spoken word and contains the power to produce what He says.

The Word of God NEVER changes, because Jesus Christ never changes!

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. When that written Word talks to us through reading, studying and meditating, it releases faith into us. But do we agree with what God has already settled? Unless we agree with God there cannot be any progress in our lives.

What God promises us in the spiritual realm can be manifested in the physical realm through our faith.  Jesus saw a man with a withered hand and told him to stretch it out. The man believed and acted on that Word and his hand was restored (Mark 3: 1 – 6).

Jairus asks Jesus to heal his daughter.  But the servant delivers a message that his daughter is already dead. Jesus refused to believe that word and encouraged Jairus to disregard that message and believe that He would heal her. Jairus agrees with Jesus. On reaching his home Jairus sees and hears the mourning of his family and relatives, but is still in agreement with Jesus. Jesus tells the mourners that the girl is not dead, but has only fallen asleep. Jesus spoke His faith. He spoke what was not (Mark 5: 21 – 43). Jairus daughter was restored to life.

The woman with the issue of blood believes that if she touches the garment of Jesus she would be healed. There were others touching Him as well, but the healing came to her because of her faith. She called her healing by believing; she took her miracle from Jesus (Mark 5: 25 – 34).

We too can read the Word but do we act like God’s Word is true? Are we willing to be in agreement with God’s Word even though we have do not have any proof in the physical realm?  God’s Word is fixed, If we are willing to believe we will receive what He has already promised us.

God’s Word is settled, the question is, are we willing to accept this Word?

MY RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS MY NUMBER ONE FOCUS. I KNOW THAT IF I TAKE CARE OF THAT, GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING ELSE.
