Quality Decisions Part – 5

Mark 5: 22 – 24 —— And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet  and begged Him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.”  So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.

The quality decision that we make activates the faith that gets the job done. The question is, are we willing to step out in faith by decision based on God’s Word?

When Jairus fell at Jesus’ feet and gave voice to his faith, Jesus instantly got involved in Jairus’ affairs. Jairus risked his reputation by asking Jesus for help. However, his decision moved Jesus to respond.

In life, we get many opportunities to do good to those who hurt us. Our understanding is that others are hurting us. If we stick to our quality decision and respond according to God’s Word, God will get involved in our situation and turn it around in our favour. Our emotions will not agree with us yet we need to stay committed. When Jesus gets involved it will turn to victory.

If there is a crisis in certain areas in our life, there is aGod givenremedy to turn that into our victory. It will only happen when we make a quality decision.

A recently divorced man used to attend the Bible class. A scripture in the Bible caught his attention – Mark 10: 8 – 9 —- the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.  Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.

He began to speak this scripture to himself, even though he had no contact with his wife. After a few months, this man got a chance to speak to wife and gradually they became friends although his wife kept reminding him that they were divorced. Undauntedly he continued repeating the same scripture again and again.

Now fast forward to three years and they are together again. When he continued to speak faith it changed the situation. He made a decision to believe what God’s Word says and planted and took care of the faith seed. The harvest took three years to manifest in his life but it did come. During that delay, God built his character. Earlier His character was one of anger and bitterness.  During that delay, his life changed for the better. His wife could now rely on him. Now that they are together again, no one will say that they used to be divorced. The whole family is united! Their lives are overflowing with happiness and the peace of Christ.

The Bible was not given for our information, but for our TRANSFORMATION.
