The Christian Identity Part – 2

Jeremiah 29:11-13 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Believing or not believing the Word of God makes a difference. Our attitude toward Scripture is a vital key that releases the power of the Lord in our life. God didn’t give us so many pages of his own words just because he wanted to be a famous author; he gave us Scriptures because it contains life; it tells us how to live and what to avoid; it even tells us what to do if we’re in the wrong position and doing the wrong thing. It gives us straightforward, solid information about God’s plans. But He can’t carry out His plans through us and in us if we don’t agree with them; and we’re not going to agree with them if we don’t believe what the Lord says in Scripture, only then can we walk in his perfect will for our lives.

When we decide to seek God with all our heart and obey His Word, we will find Him and the purpose He has for our life. When God called me – He called me to do something I did not like to do. As a businessman my mind would be on business all day. But God gave me the Bible and encouraged me to live by it. I knew that this was God’s plan for my life, and I consciously made an effort to live by it despite the many obstacles, failures and opposition from people.

God doesn’t call the qualified, God qualifies the “CALLED”. No matter where you are in your life with God, HE is qualifying you for His service because you are CALLED. He can help you overcome the mistakes you have made, and even use them to help others. Just allow Him to use you.

God chose many prophets to carry out His will before the foundation of this world – Jeremiah, Samuel, John the Baptist, St. Paul and many others.

To Jeremiah the Lord said: “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou came forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”  (Jeremiah 1:5)
When Samuel was still a child God began to speak to him it became obvious that God was working through him.  1 Samuel 3:20 — And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel had been established as a prophet of the Lord.

John the Baptist was anointed in His mother’s womb to prepare the way for the Lord. Malachi 3:1 —- “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me.

Saint Paul says God had chosen him before he was born.  Acts 9:15 –  But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he (Paul)  is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.

God has a plan for each of us. We may not always understand his plan, but we still need to be obedient as we try to fulfill it.

How do we do that? Micah 6:8 — He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?

God’s plan is for us to be faithful to Him in everything we do. The plan is not that you become a doctor, a missionary, a singer or even an astronaut. Those are just the details. The big plan is to follow Him in all we do.

“You know what? It doesn’t matter how rich we are or what car we drive or even how many church services we attend. God doesn’t look at that. What matters is how much we seek God and how we share His love with the people we meet, no matter where we are or what we are doing.”

That’s what I’m trying to do with my life—to trust God completely, and walk with him every single day.
